Re: Best b-camera for C100
Hi Jody
I use a Tiffen VariND to control light with my EF lenses on my Gh4. Like Dave I have a passive EF to M43 adaptor.
The just released Metabones Speedbooster active EF to m43 adaptor will...

Re: C100 LCD monitor usability
Its no worse than the LCD on my GH4 on a bright day. For focusing I find that peaking works well enough so screen sharpness isn't an issue for me. I use the Petrol Deca Mini Hood and its a workable...

Re: Custom Eyecup for the C100
Yes the chamois came with mine.
Used the c-cup last night at a BTS shoot which was mostly handheld. It was excellent and definitely makes the EVF a viable viewfinder. It's also gives a great 3rd...

Re: Transcoding for AE and FCPX- What's best?
I don't use AE for much other than some camera tracking and titles etc so I can't say if ClipWrap will help for direct import. I generally export a ProRes clip of a region on the timeline in FCPx to...

C100 slomo MTB downhill video
Hi
Here is an MTB downhill video I shot recently using the C100 which contains slo-mo gained by shooting in 50i slowed to 50% and up to 25% in some cases on a 25p timeline in FCPx. For me the...

Re: Custom Eyecup for the C100
Mine is also enroute just in time to help in these sunnier days. How are you folk finding the EVF for focusing and exposure?
Tbh I've been depending in the LCD with a petrol sun shade on bright...

Re: Im about to make the jump....HELP!
Great advice here and all very workable to your needs. I give another vote to the 17-50 focal length -a Tamron in my case - plus a Canon 70-200 f4 L for close ups. This is a great base point I've...

Re: C100: Be happy!
Nicely put Matt. I also fear this and that they don't listen to users anyway.
I'm not sure we'll see many more improvements in terms of firmware for the C100 at this stage. I hope I'm wrong.

Re: C100: Be happy!
Random thought: Is 4k through the C100 hdmi port possible? I've read the C100 has a 4k sensor so just wondering if Canon can unlock 4k via firmware? The new 4k recorder from Atomos would make a good...

Don't be shy about using twitter to run the kickstarter campaign. I've watched many campaigns become successful through social media. I follow a lot of c100 users who would definitely...

Re: Custom Eyecup for the C100
Count me in for a kick starter campaign! It looks great and looks like it works a treat. Any idea how it performs when wearing glasses?
It's what canon should have included with the c100 in the...

Re: C100: Lenses loose?
Nope, it doesn't show. You'd have to put a lot of force on it and be very heavy handed to create any movement during normal use.

Re: C100: Lenses loose?
Hi Christopher,
Thanks for your input. As you see in the video I have to apply a little force to get this to happen. It doesn't happen by gravity and the lenses don't wiggle if the camera is...
