I did not touch a thing. This is how the recording came out of the EX-1 and onto the Samurai. Direct to FCP and that was about it.

So, I put the SxS card back into the compter and copied the BAPV file directly onto the portable hard drive. I had to label one of them BPAV_ as BPAV was already on the drive....

I like the SmallHD. It is an excellent monitor with sunshade (DPx1) and has an excellent warranty. The staff couldn't be nicer and any more accommodating.
