I want to rent out my gear. Do you rent yours?

I didn't have much luck with my original post. Maybe the title wasn't intriguing enough so I'll try again.

I have:

* (2) XL-1s
* (1) 16X, (1) 3X
* Assorted mics and accessories
* Lowel Rifa, Pro Light and assorted stands acccessories, etc.

* Tripods, dollies, etc.

* (2) Canon 10D Digital SLR
* (1) 100-400 IS Lens, (1) 17-40 Lens, 15mm Lens

* 2 Sony DV-G1000 with related bullet cams
* etc,etc,etc...

The point isn't really the equipment, but renting it when I'm not using it. Is there anyone else out there renting their personal equipment from their home?

Not looking for the theory behind it. Looking for real world tips, insurance carriers, and other helpful information you may be able to provide.

Thanks,

-Eric
