It's a little less time than the last round, so budget accordingly....

A reminder that this is the last UWOL Challenge for 2007. The contest will resume Feb. 1, 2008 which will allow the shooters to get out there and shoot something in entirely different months and even different seasons than they did this year.

gilles, the theme will be announced November 1. this gives a week for everyone to see the sign-up thread and sign up. we end the sign-ups before we announce the theme. that's the Challenge....

I figure I should just sit quietly and watch what you lot come up with but I'm going to try again - make it a marine theme - I'm still wet from being in the tank!

Wow, this is unreal! I've been hanging out for this challenge, i missed out on the sign up for the last challenge by a couple of days. That was when i first discovered this contest, & ever since i've been inspired by all of your work. Hope i can submit something that comes close to the quality i've seen so far!

Both my cameras need to go out on repairs but can still shoot, so they are going to wait until the uwol 6 is over.

I will go for it, may have to use the old digital 8, but Who Cares!

cavorting in the wilder-wild and sharing the results with friends from all over the world or sitting at home on the couch eating potato chips and watching Animal Planet....which is it?

I hear you about the new job!! I am in a new position and have to commute too!! I haven't even had time to rake up the leaves in the yard this fall!!! I think everything except uwol 6 will have to wait till spring!!!
take an afternoon and give yourself a break, shoot video, eh?

I do hope I can find the time with work, but I definately need to get out and do something, my kit has been wasting away lately.

Hi Dale and Meryem.
And I hear you about the autumn leaves Dale. Great that we're not alone in this world :)
It's 23.50pm over here and I'm at work. Started 19.00pm and will be home tomorrow at 8.30am. These 4 weeks I've had an average sleep of 4.5 h day/night, and tomorrow is my first day off. I'm gonna sleep the whole day through. I'm having fun though, stillI've got some great "pillows" underneath my eyes so I better not narrate in front of camera this time :)
I'm gonna find me a team leader in about two weeks then I'll get a more relaxing time on job.
Uwol#6 will be like salvation for me, and soon it'll be Christmas and my wish this year is a brand new T-shirt :)

Kevin, it's a bit early to prepair the shark tank yet, don't you think. Besides, the sharks got way too much company last round. They don't need anything until next year!!
I'm sure you will come up with a great video this time! :)

Nice to see we got some new people joining our friendship this round.
But where is young Gabriel hiding? Can't see he's signed up yet.

Hmm, maybe the theme will be "exhausted". naw, would make Dale and Geir instant winners, haha. Don't work too hard guys, you need to have some time for uwol!

Now there have been, Skies and Recreation, The Wild, Water, and Mammals…… I wonder what could be next, what ever it may be, it‘ll be good to get out and do some.

Meryem what a wonderful idea.....my so called friend. For me to film a tree or leaf I have to travel 1000 miles due south.....and I thought we were family. I guess I'm the unloved one. LOL

If I can work the next theme I'm going to surprise everyone by showing snow. I know, I know I've never done that before so I thought I'd surprize everyone. LOL

We had our first real snow storm yesterday soooo no need to carry a white balance card anymore.

Looking forward to the theme.
