I use Cineform (NeoScene) with my Canon 5D footage. I am running a Dell XPS 420 box with a Quadcore. I did upgrade to 9. I have rendered Cineform projects, and haven't had any serious issues. I do note 9 seems to be a little bit "clunkier" that 8. Seems to take longer to open, and has pauses at certain commands that in 8 would have be closer to instant response. Not sure why. I am guessing that 9 might be running with more overhead due to new features added ??

Edited addition: I went into task manager, and checked resoursces being used by each in a state without anything going on, and 9 uses less. See attachment
