Capturing HD Footage Printing to Tape as SD
Hello,
I have an XHA1. I've been trying to print my HD footage back to tape as SD footage but for some reason Vegas 8 doesn't seem to allow this. With my project edited in Vegas I go to Tools>Print to HDV Tape but the program doesn't recognize my camcorder with my project settings set to DV Widescreen. If anybody could help me out it would be greatly appreciated. -Xerxes |

U have to go to: Printo to Dv tapes if you want final SD footage
|

There's an option Print to Tape but when it comes time to print, the video will play back on my xha1, but when I press the record button, the video doesn't record. Not sure what's going on.

Ah, I figured out the problem. I was pressing the wrong record button. You're supposed to press the record button located on the XHA1s handle, NOT the Big ol' record button on the side.
