HD-SDI vs HDV timelines...?

Hi guys,

just avery quick question..

I have a sony FX1 and I want to start editing my first HD timeline. I have captured the m2t files and I am unsure of which premiere pro 2.0 preset to use to edit. What is the difference between HD-SDI and HDV timelines?
I assume I should use the HDV Sony 50i timeline to use with my PAL Fx1 but if somebody could confirm this I would be very greatful..

David

Yes, HDV is just fine for your FX1. You would choose HD-SDI if you wanted to capture via SDI interface like Blackmagic or Xena instead of firewire. HDV preset uses FireWire to capture.
