Premiere Pro Audio out of Sync
Help! I've got a seriously urgent issue. Basically, HDV I captured from my FX1 into premiere pro 2.0 (using Premiere Pro 2, not Cineform or any other third-party tool) has the audio gradually drift out of sync. Other programs, like Windows Media Player and VLC, don't have this issue. Can someone help me fix this?
Also, I've tried separating the audio and video in TMPEnc and AviDemux, but it doesn't fix the issue. I see some posts about a 3.2 upgrade, but I'm not even using CS3 so.. am I out of luck? Thanks, Mike |

If you have scene splits in your footage, making you have that option set when capturing the tape. Splitting on scene boundaries fixes the audio shift issues.
P.S. This works for CineForm captures, it may help you with PPro 2.0 native also.
