Premiere HDR workflow?

Ive been fooling around with pseudo HDR on premiere and Ive managed to get some interesting results but nowhere close to what Im looking for. Ive used 2 layers and then "applied" Soft Light between them. Then on lower layers Ive messed around with the Shadows/Highlights option. The main issue is that when I export the video I get a sort of pulsing glow to the images.
Did anyone have any luck with an HDRish workflow on Premiere? Im not looking for that exaggerated HDR look, Im looking for that HDR look that is as close as possible to reality.

Any thoughts?

Re: Premiere HDR workflow?

You need to turn off any auto adjustment on shadows/highlights, and set the values manually. This is where pulsing comes from, at least from my experience.
