How do I change Encore output format?

Hi all. I have just made a good 8.54GB dual-layer DVD from an Encore project. Now I'd like to make a 4.7GB single layer disc or image from the same project. How do I do that?

Encore will compress the data to fit on the smaller disc and offered me the option before I built the dual-layer version. Now I want to reduce the size of the main file for the single-layer disc but the option doesn't seem to be there any more.

When I change the disc info settings, the data used remains too big for the smaller capacity disc/image. I'm sure I'm missing something simple here. Tried searching but couldn't find the answer.

And also, would I encounter a similar problem if I wanted to make a DVD from a project created for a Blu-ray burn?

Re: How do I change Encore output format?

If you have done the transcoding in Encore then You need to Revert the file to Original (right click on the file).
I would not make a dvd from a BD project. I would set up a seperate dvd project from scratch.
