Yeah, I am considering trying this as it could save a lot of hassle when I put the full edit together. The worry I have is that I will end up doing too much fiddling around and replacing the initial bounces numerous times.

I have nine short films to piece together with musical interludes (also filmed) the music of which will overlap with the short films. Until I actually put it all together in a timeline, only then will the editing pacing be accurately determined and I am bound to alter the original edit of the short films in the process.
