Reloading clips onto Ki Pro
I think I'm correct in thinking that you can use the Ki Pro Mini as a playback device - ie once you've recorded clips onto the card you can hook it up to a monitor, press Play and it'll play.
What I was wondering was once you've transferred the material from the card to a hard drive (in a folder presumably) could you then reload a folder onto a card and play it? Cheers, Steve |

Re: Reloading clips onto Ki Pro
Steve P. - Yes, you can use the Ki Pro and Ki Pro Mini products for playback. You can move files back onto the units for playback as well. The files transferred to the Ki Pro or Ki Pro Mini must be full raster Apple ProRes 422 (HQ), Apple ProRes 422, Apple ProRes 422 (LT), or Apple ProRes 422 (Proxy) with 24-bit 48kHz audio as either 2 channel or 8 channel.
If you need assistance with this common type of workflow, don't hesitate to contact AJA Technical Support. Hope this is helpful, Jon Thorn Senior Product Manager AJA Video Systems, Inc. Currently in Amsterdam at IBC |
