Sennheiser Wireless Evolution G2 Lavalier Microphone windblock

Hi Guys

Can anyone please recommend a Lavalier Microphone windblock compatible with the Sennheiser Wireless Evolution G2 (ME2 Lavalier Microphone)?

Warm regards

Peter

Here we go, I used the Sennheiser Mike together with a Wincutter cover in my short demo video

No contest - Rycote.

There are various options - Undercovers, Overcovers, Furries (Lavallier Windjammers), etc.

This is the industry standard in the UK (and everywhere else I know).

Mostly it's Rycote that invents it and others try and copy - but Rycote understands the science very well so the HF loss is minimal even with the most hairy of covers.

All of my ME-2 mics came with a windscreen standard. Omni mics actually fair pretty well in the wind compared to cardioid ones. If you are getting wind noise (and it does happen), then you need to go to more extreme measures such as deadcats as has been mentioned. A quick fix in the field when you are stuck that may help somewhat is to gaff tape the lav inside the shirt or blouse. YMMV
