Headset Mic Suggestions

Hi guys. I've been using this headset mic to record into my video camera for a while but the thin wire has worn out and now it is crackling. I need an upgrade.

Can you give me suggestions for a headset mic that goes up to about £100. If there are any that are more then they might be worth mentioning as I would consider more if it was really worth it.

Cheers

Re: Headset Mic Suggestions

I would assume a $14 USD mic would break easily.. and not sound very good either.
The OST HM-701 headset mic is around $100 USD. (w/ 3.5 plug.. a Phantom or battery Powered XLR version is considerably more) I have not used their headset mic but other OST mics sound good and are highly regarded by most folks (search here and other sound forums). Yes, this NJ (USA) company ships to the UK and elsewhere. OST
