a little Christmas music
Merry Christmas, winter solstice, etc. Best wishes for the coming year. I put together a short video for the symphony that I record, we had to cancel our normal performance this year. Some Vivaldi and Gruber from past years.
All of this was recorded in a gothic style cathedral. Mostly ORTF into my Zoom H6. Not perfect but still lovely music. Enjoy. and here's one for the rockers out there. Be safe, be well, we'll dance when this is over. j |

Re: a little Christmas music
Very appropriate John. I like your recording.
Here’s hoping 2021 brings you, the orchestra and everyone, a happy, healthy and safe 12 months. Cheers.

Re: a little Christmas music
I’m familiar with the Gloria and thought your recording was very nice. One thing, the videos did not work for me on the forum, I had to go to Vimeo? On here, I get a sorry message about privacy settings.
May I make a suggestion for your next? Include the location please. I don’t even know the country, let alone the town/city. |

Re: a little Christmas music
Allan and Paul, thank you very much for your comments and well wishes.
Allan, we'll be back in business at the end of January. The cancelled Dec. concert was strictly chorale. It just seemed too risky to have a group of people all singing in the same area. Our bug spread is getting better here along with vaccines starting so it seems like we're beginning to get a handle on things. Thank you for the well wishes. Paul, great point! I was thinking locally. FYI I'm located in Helena, MT. USA. To me it is amazing to have such a wonderful symphony here. There is only 65,000 people living in the area. A good number of the symphony are from around the region. Montana is almost 600 miles across and 275 miles top to bottom. 1 million people and 2 million cows. Big Sky country. Be safe, be well, we'll dance when this is over. j |
