				PC speakers

I'm interested in a 5.1 sound system that has good audio quality for dvds, listening to music, and also offers a decent gaming experience. I'm also looking in the $200 - $250 range. Any suggestions?

				Klipsch Ultra 5.1

Hey how are you doing? Not sure of the exact price..it might run 350...But it is worth every penny. Nothing else for the PC will even come close. The bottom end and clarity is pretty good. If you're familiar with Klipsch you know exactly what I'm talking about if you aren't you should try to be. I run Klipsch promedia 2.1's for my PC and Cinema 6 for home Theatre..I'm a very happy Customer....

				no cheap stuff

There's really no cheap and good stuff when it comes to speakers. Personal preference matters alot. The best bang for the buck stuff I have ever used was Bluesky stuff(try looking on ebay), should try listening to that. I also recommend a simple test. Record the voice of your mother or girlfriend to a CD (not yourself because you hear yourself talk through the vibration of the bone,) and go play through the speakers. If it sounds like your gf/mother, you're on the right track then. Either that or you're better off with Dolby surround headphones.
