Cleaning up the ambience.

After getting home and editing some other video, I found out that my sound guy didn't hit the record on my R-09. Now I have the audio from the camera mic. It picked up all kinds of ambient sound along with the fridge that the camera was beside. Is there anyway to clean up that sound? Btw I use Audacity and Sony Acid.

Travis,

you can probably improve what you recorded with your camera, but don't expect to get perfect results. Take a look at this thread:

http://www.dvinfo.net/conf/showthread.php?t=91508

It lists a number of tools that you may want to try out - after you fire your sound guy :-)
