What are your thoughts on this technology for wireless systems?

It's called spread spectrum technology and has been around for several years. Of course it originated in the military as a way to keep communications secure. It's also referred to as frequency hopping. Some communication systems can even do this across several bands of frequencies.

It's a pretty good way to avoid congested frequencies.
