Redrock Micro M2 Encore Motor Issues
Has anyone else been having problems with their M2e motor dying? I've already sent back one unit and received another, but it died after one hour on the first shoot I took it out on yesterday. I haven't read anything about Redrock products being bad so I'm very much puzzled by this. Am I just really unlucky?

Hi John
Sounds like you are unlucky - you should definitely contact our support group. One simple fix is to increase the variable speed adjustment all the way up and it should resolve the issue. There is a knowledgebase article on this that has a little more detail on it at start.redrockmicro.com Hope that helps - sorry for the inconvenience. Cheers Brian

Thanks for your response, Brian. I tried that too and it didn't work unfortunately. The support staff at Redrock Micro has been great so far in taking the matter seriously and it's a shame that this has had to happen again as I really enjoy using the M2e. They informed me yesterday that they are shipping a new unit out to me immediately so hopefully that will take care of everything.
