Is this the dv953? Video looks nice... I just purchased this camera and have a rotating GG DOF adapter not on the camera yet but this looks good... It looks long... are you concerned about the weight on the lens threads?

I believe the m42 lens is supposed to have a 46.5mm distance to focus screen and my extension tube makes that distance about 38mm which is to short but it works for now until I can get a longer 55mm tube to replace it.

This was shot with a GS400 and yes I'm very concerned about it's unsupported size and weight. I am getting a stronger macro so hopefully I can shorten the tube from GG to camera. It really needs a rail setup to hold it properly but this is just a test model and I don't want to build any support until I settle on a moving GG or maybe a static medium format model.
