Micro 35 adapter. Does it magnify 7.2X?

The Micro 35 adapter. Does it magnify 7.2X on a 1/3" CCD camera?

Anyone know? Is this some kind of huge secret? There is nothing on
their website about magnification and they have not answered my
emailed question, yet seem to have time to answer other posts.

FWIW, I hope it does. I need it for wildlife videography.

I can't speak for P+S, but when I tried to reply to you the email bounces.

Hey Brian,

<jacmer@umich.edu> should work.

>>I can't speak for P+S

I guess I was really confused. I thought your company's
lens adapter was one that did not use glass. I see by rereading
that it does indeed use a rotating glass system. I missed that
the first time I went to your site.

What I am looking for would be an adapter to work with the
Panasonic HVX200 (when it comes to market) and 35mm Canon
SLR glass. An adapter that does not
use glass and will therefore supply a ~7.2X magnification boost.

I am a nature documentary filmmaker and am highly desirous of
this effect.

My apologies for not picking this out when I went to your website.

Jacques - This is the P+S forum, so let's take our conversations offline if that's okay - please email me directly.
