Quyen,

I was curious, and maybe it's been posted already, but how much light loss is there in regards to the Letus35XL? Is it 1.5 stops like the Letus35Flip Enhanced or less?

Thanks :)

Hey Andrew, I'm assuming it's Let - Us - 35 (it).

Am I correct Quyen? If I'm correct, I'm assuming I'm getting a nice prize. :)

Can't believe I brought the Letus35 and have not used it yet! Of course, it hasn't been the best weather conditions, lately, in Washington...Yeah that's it.

I lie, I just havn't played with it yet. I've shown it around to people and looked at it but havn't shot anything with it. Plan was to go shoot some nice footage in Korea, for my vacation starting this weekend.

However, I'm thinking of not taking the Letus35Flip with me. I'm not too sure how the airport security guards would react to it, that and I don't want to have to open and show it to the guards at the checkpoints, repeatedly in Korea and on my return trip. What with the recent news about airport baggage losing and damaging gear in the bags on the rise...Am I worring too much I just have a feeling the system will be damaged. I should worry more about my FX-1. :)

Oh well.

I don't find the good way to measure light loss of the relay lens. With the regular unit, I can compare with and without the adapter then calculate the difference between the 2 figures. With the relay lens, I don't have anything to compare with. Can anybody help me on this? Thanks.

it depends how wide your opening the iris of the adapter. At the widest, you're not loosing more than a stop of light. I think that you're not loosing .5 stop because there is no longer the XL HD lense in front of the adapter. I would say it depends. The thing is more you're closing the iris, the better the quality of the image.

Quyen, in your opinion is the relay version proving to be sharper than the version that uses the standard lens?

Are you planning on posting any more footage or stills?:)

So in theory, light loss would be less than 1.5 stops fot the Letus35XL since the light loss for the Letus35Flip Enhanced is about 1.5 stops.
