Sony VRD-MC5 AVCHD standalone recorder

This is perfect if you want to transfer AVCHD footage to a DVD without using a computer and then playing it on your PS3 or other Blu-Ray players.

Sony should release a Blu-Ray version that works with AVCHD and HDV camcorders. They also need to do an XDCAM version for the new XDCAM-EX.

Careful. It is only compatible with the camcorders listed.
