Composer Window in Left Monitor Best?
I just read while searching for answer to a different ? that the Composer Window should be in the left monitor of dual monitor setup. Is this correct?
Third post from top: http://community.avid.com/forums/p/1...355.aspx#96355 I have mine in the right window, but do have infrequent odd behavior, like Help not disappearing properly or clips not playing. Thanks. Last edited by Peter Moretti; September 8th, 2008 at 06:55 AM. |

Peter,
I use composer on the right and bins on the left without any problems. So this is new to me. I do know that you have to identify which monitor is full screen capable in the Full Screen Playback settings. Are both your monitors set to the same resolution?

I've read that restriction before as well, and don't know if it's an Avid issue, or a video card hardware/driver issue. I know that I've seen other applications that won't play video properly on my right screen.
Do you have your screens set as independent, or as one big screen? You might want to mess with that to see if it makes a difference. |

left or right doesn't mean anything. you have to specify if it is primary or secondary display.
screens can be arranged in every way, so position is not relevant. |
