				Ac3 problem

Good Morning, I posted this last night and it was lost in cyberspace, so here it goes again. Two weeks back I reinstalleed my operating system and all software. Everything thing worked fine before. I am version 9c build 896, both 32 and 64 bit. same problem in both. I finished my DVD project, rendered in mp2 and ac3 audio as required for DV arc. Burnt a dvd and it has no audio. I appear to have no audio when I lay the tracks in dvd arc. I transfereed the ac3 file to dvd arc on another computer with version 8, no sound. Is it possible that I did not get the ac3 encoder/ whatever it was called, when I reinstalled. I could use some help on this one. I have always used arc sense I received it, I have roxio, is there another way to get this done in the mean time. Can I render a wave file and use it instead? Dale

Dale, you can render to PCM but DVDA will re-render to AC3 anyway but after reading your other post it seems to me that since the AC3 encoder is installed with DVDA you need to not only reinstall but re-register it as well. I might be wrong since it's been so long since I've had to do it but I just seem to recall as being something that had to be done. Hope you get worked out soon.
