No guesses yet? Is it the quote or do I need to give hints?

:)

I'm not speaking for anyone else here, but I personally hate wimping out for hints - but at the same time, I got "nuthin'." I'm coming up empty on this one. If no one sounds off with a good answer soon, then maybe a hint might be in order - such as year or genre.... or both.

O.K. I thought this would either be a really easy one or a hard one. Guess I may have finally found one that's a little more difficult.

Hints:
Sergio Leone was one of the writers

Released in the US in 1974 (additional hint there)

and here's another line containing one of the characters names:

Character 1: I see it clear as crystal. Jack Beauregard standing alone, facing the Wild Bunch. Just think of it. You'll be written up in all the history books.

Jack Beauregard: You'll be down on Earth reading them while I'm up there playing on a harp.

Maybe that will jog some memories.

Hang 'em High

Is that it?

Thinking along the right lines, Spaghetti Western, but it doesn't have Clint in it. Jack Beauregard was played by a very famous Academy Award winning actor.

Aha. I know what it is... but I'll defer to someone else for the win.

Garrett Low August 6th, 2009 12:18 AM

Chris, you may have to answer this one.

NOBODY have a guess?

-Garrett

Chris Hurd August 7th, 2009 08:03 AM

Well, I guess I've stood aside long enough... "Il mio nome è Nessuno" released in the U.S. as "My Name is Nobody."

Garrett Low August 7th, 2009 03:16 PM

You got it Chris. Are we the only two in here that have seen that movie?

Your turn.

Along the same lines then...

Actor #1: "Sixteen... seventeen... twenty-two. Twenty-two?"

(gunfire)

Actor #1: "Twenty-seven."

Actor #2: "Any trouble, boy?"

Actor #1: "No, old man. Thought I was having trouble with my adding. It's all right now."

For A Few Dollars More

Chris Hurd August 10th, 2009 10:51 PM

All yours, Bill -- let's hear your quote!

Bill Thesken August 11th, 2009 01:22 AM

This is probably too easy. I also just re-read the very first post where it's okay to 'X' a name.

"I'm XXXXX the Masochist. I live here. My friend is close to death and we need to get him in the water."

Garrett Low August 11th, 2009 02:32 AM

The Masochist, water? Gotta be Gary Busey in Big Wednesday.... :)
