Interesting news. I guess they still didn't know the WB decision would tilt things in favor of BD. I wonder if they will still release this, or they have an option on a BD only burner, to lower cost a bit. It's not in production yet, so maybe there is still time to change it.

Speaking of cost, no price was mentioned.

Events move faster than Product Development...and vice versa.

The only thing we know for sure is a whole bunch of folks are re-evaulating what is coming down the pike at warp speed.

That's true. And at least, for us wedding shooters, we won't have to get confused with which standard to burn the discs. Now, if they can only finalize or come out with the software for mastering these dics it would inspire more confidence in us. :-)
