Any solution for panning?

Hello,

Maybe my shutter speed was not right, but is there any setting that you can get decent results when panning or tracking an object in motion? I shoot in 1080 24p mode, and intent to use this for a project that needs to be broadcast in HD. What I am seeing right now, it is not going to work. My whole work flow is 23.976.

Results so far have been less then stunning. I had bought this camera primarily for time-lapse, but hope to use it for generic wildlife shooting.

Any help will be appreciated!
