PluralEyes

Used the trial version of Plural this morning with my kids as subjects. Matched my Zoom H4, my Kodak Zi8, and my T2i in FCP2 with no problem.

I shot with the Kodak at 1080/30p and set the T2i at the same. I used Streamclip to transcode the Kodak footage and the Canon plug in to handle the T2i footage. Brought both clips in as AIC. Sure wish that Kodak would release a plug-in for FCP.

The footage matched okay. This will likely be a lighting thing. The T2i footage is way superior, of course.

I'm shooting a wedding this weekend, and I'm going to use my Sony HC9 as my B-Camera and the Kodak will ride along for fun.

I'm selling my FX1000 now that I bought the T2i. Need to cover the costs of moving to dslr.

Anyone tried PluralEyes with a consumer tape based camera and a dslr? That's my next test.
