I've got a cheap Targus reader from Kmart. Not sure there's much difference between the card readers on the market. Could be wrong though :)

Just make sure it's capable of reading SDHC (as opposed to plain-jane Secure Digital). Most older card readers, and some new ones that are cheap, are not SDHC compatible.

Most modern PCs will read SDHC cards plugged into the SD slot. If yours is over 2 years old it may not but it's worth trying before you buy a reader.
Otherwise search B&H for SDHC card readers, set relevance for price low to high and check them out. I used to get a real simple SanDisk reader that took an SDHC card at one end and the other plugged into any USB 2.0 port. The ones I got were packaged with a 4GB SanDisk Ultra II card, but I haven't seen any packaged like that since. If nothing at B&H strikes your fancy try amazon |

I bought a Targus too, I think at Walmart, its much faster than the one that was on board by Dell XPS 420, which is about a year and a half old....
