Canon 70d focus question for video
I have it on autofocus while shooting video. My thought was I touch the "pause AF servo" on the screen the stop the autofocus and then I can manually focus the camera until I hit it again. It doesn't let you manually focus while paused. Is the only way of doing this is to hit the Manual focus switch on the lens?

Re: Canon 70d focus question for video
It depends on the lens. I can manually focus my L class Canon lenses in the way you described with the lens switch set to auto but this won't work with the lens you are using. You can only manually focus with the lens switch set to manual.

Re: Canon 70d focus question for video
Interesting, I was thinking while taking pictures I was able to just manually focus it but maybe that was never the case.
