Suggested Rigs for DSLR
Hi folks! I don't know a great deal about rigs in general, but I'd like to know what suggestions people have for good, affordable, solid rigs. Personally I have a Canon 1D-C, so cage-style rigs for 5D won't work for me, but at this stage I'm totally clueless. Even a list of manufacturers would be helpful. Right now all I know is RedRockMicro and Letus.
What am I looking for? Ideally: - Flexible, works for shoulder, hand-held, tripod. - Matte box, follow focus and rods are musts. - Should be able to mount a small HDMI/EV monitor on the rig. Thanks! |

Re: Suggested Rigs for DSLR
Take a look at Edelkrone. They looked at ergonomics first and designed theirs to mimic the tried and true ergonomics of traditional shoulder cameras with eyepiece and sensor planes in the right places.
