BTS Live Photo Video Shot with Canon 5D MKIII
Hey Everyone,
Here is a Behind The Scenes of a Live Photo shoot. The video was shot with a Canon 5D MK III and there are a couple of 2 second clips shot with the Canon XF100. The still images were also shot with a Canon 5D MKIII. Edited in Adobe Premiere Pro CC. If you like the video please give it a thumbs up and leave a comment. Thanks, Last edited by Craig Beckta; April 13th, 2014 at 05:06 AM. |

Thanks for sharing Craig. Nice shooting and nice looking images!
What a tight studio! Barely enough room for the looks the photog was going for. No chance for any type of hair light. I really like the look of the beauty dish setup (1st lighting setup). They are were all really well done though. |

Hi,
I am both the Photographer and Video Editor. Josh Szeto shot the BTS footage. Yeah, it is a tight space. Hopefully it inspires people who don't have the luxury of shooting in large studios. Craig Beckta |

There are some really nice shots here Craig, both in video and stills format.
This is a good example of the versatility of a modern DSLR. You can shoot good video and then use it to shoot great stills. You can't do that with a Cinema EOS. |

Re: BTS Live Photo Video Shot with Canon 5D MKIII
Thanks Andy,
I would choose my Canon 5D MK III over a Canon XF100 any day. Although, I do like the auto focus feature on the XF100 when I am shooting product reviews for YouTube. Craig Beckta Halifax Portrait Photographer Craig Beckta Dartmouth Portrait - |
