Does GL2 fix viewfinder and LCD monitor shot coverage issue? at DVinfo.net

Hey all, wondering if the new GL2 viewfinder and LCD monitor now have 100% coverage of the shot unlike the 88% that was on the old EVF as far as I know.

Good question. I didn't check this at DV Expo but will try to do so at MacWorld in two weeks. At DV Expo, we had an NTSC monitor cabled to a GL2. Hopefully we'll have the same set-up at MacWorld so we can check into this.

Main thing though is the flip-out LCD now has 200K pixels, over the 120K pixels in the GL1.

Plus, the GL2 does the full 720x480 image, unlike the XL1S. Hope this helps,
