Capturing inludes frames from previous scene

I am capturing SD from the HV20 but when I do this (into vegas and scenalyzer) using scene detection it always includes a few frames from the end of the previous shot in the new shot. I have DV locked as output. Any ideas to avoid this?

This is a fault with Vegas (7) when capturing HDV footage. I didn't know it occurred when captured DV.
