HFS11 PF30 ---- Matching HVX200 30p and XHA1 30p

Im not used to all the "auto" this and that on the HFS11.

Whats the best settings to have the camera work well in 30p

Is it correct that I should be in Tv 30? Or should I be in CineMode???

Is there a choice that lets me control settings?

In the setup menu set the frame rate from "60i (Standard)" to "PF30"

You may also want to pay attention to "AGC Limit" and "Auto Slow Shutter"

After that, set yourself to P, Tv, Av, Cine... some people like Cine becasue they say its lower contrast gives them a broader image range for post-processing (which you might need to color-match footage from a different camera). Then again, if the contrast range is already narrow (since you *are* matchng a different video feed), you might want to try the standard modes -- which will give you better color precision within the colors you do have.

Beyond that, experiment! "Whats the best settings to have the camera work well" is a pretty impossible question other than saying "put it in auto & enjoy your vacation"
