Mmm...personally, I feel like all of the tradeoffs in a camera like this are justified by the tiny size, so you can pocket it when necessary. It's pretty easy to build a camera out when you need it to be bigger with a 3rd party shoulder mount etc.

Just having the camera bigger is better. HV10 footage without a tripod looks just too amateur. And honestly... who'd carry a tripod in a once-in-a lifetime recording?

^I still seriously think that's an HV10, an HV20 should look like the Optura Xi in my opinion.

Since the HV20 was announced on Canon Japan's site late last night (and yes it does look sort of like an Optura Xi), I think it's safe to move this thread from Area 51 to our HV10 (and HV20) forum. No need to keep it open though. I'm sure the HV20 will (eventually) come back to the Circuit City pages. Thanks all,
