Setting the Camcorder's WiFi Password
I have been trying to set my XA20 camcorder's password for a WiFi connection, but when I follow all the recomendations in the manual, I do not get the aphabetical display of the virtual keyboard, only the numerical display appears. Have I missed something?

If you are trying to connect to a “smartphone connection” (first option on the Wi-Fi menu list) you only need a numeric password so you only get the numeric keyboard.
On the other hand if you are trying to connect to a Wi-Fi network or “Access Point Connection” (second option on the Wi-Fi menu list) you will get a alphanumeric keyboard. Hope this helps Ross |

Ah, I see! I was thinking I had to create a new 8-digit password, but the 4-digit pincode looks logic.

Tried that, but did only work, after I effectively placed an 8-digit password/number.
