NTG-2 and A-1
I've been auditioning the NTG-2...mostly acoustic guitar and singing, the past couple of days.
I must say I sure have been pleasantly surprised with the sound coming from that mike. It really produced a much bigger, cleaner and transparent sound then I expected from a mike in that price range...at least on the A-1. Other large diaphragm Rode mikes I have are really great for the money and this NTG-2 just reinforced my faith in Rode again. Take care. |

Roger if you've got some time to wait, the new RODE NTG-3 will be a step up again but about double the price.
Double the sound quality..? You can't measure it like that but I think it should be quite a mic. Build the budget up just in case :) Cheers. |
