Need Help, No Sound from XLR

I'm not getting any sound from my XLR inputs. I'm using a Audio Tech 815a shotgun mic that is going into a Behringer eurorack ubb1002 mixer then into Ch1 xlr on my canon xh-a1.
Camera audio settings:
aud. M set - Normal
Xlr input - on-XLR
(rest of settings are grayed out)

Outboard Camera Settings
XLR MIC ATT - OFF both CH
Line Mic - Mic
Ch1 Ch1/Ch2 - Ch1
+48 - off Ch1/Ch2
Audio Level - M

Mixer settings
mic input the gain is way up to pic up the mic
Main levels meter going between 0db and -6

The levels in the camera seem to pick up sounds like a snap but no voice. If I turn the levels up loud its just static. I snap a finger and the level jumps but I cant hear it in the headphones that are plugged into the back of the camera. When the headphones are plugged into the mixer there is no problem.... So I'm doing something wrong with the camera. ANY IDEAS???????

Please Help. I'm shooting in a few hours.

Thanks

check to make sure that the level dials on the side of the camera are set up properly since you have the levels set to manual. trial adjusting the menu jog ial on the camera as that controls the headphone/speaker volume.

Maybe the problem is in the eurorack...do you have power to the mike (phantom power button on the eurorack top right under the outputs). The main outs are 1/4" TRS plugs, do you have the proper adapter or a TRS to XLR cable to hook up with? Is your input gain on the channel you are using turned up...do you get a decent level on the output meter? If you have tand rca to xlr adapter, you might try using the tape outs instead of main outs, they should be -10db line level which you could use on the xha1 either with the attenuator on or with the line level selected...Battle Vaughan /miamiherald.com video team

Another thought --- check the pan control on the channel you are using for the mike, if it's panned left and you are using the right main out you will get nada....and vice-versa. You have power on to the eurodeck (blue light lit)? Sorry to be obvious but sometimes under pressure it's easy to overlook little stuff like that...bvaughan
