HDV exporting issues with Premiere CS3

Hi,

Can anyone help me with an issue I am having? I am trying to export an HD video in Prem. CS3 using either Windows AVI or Quicktime. However, it is rendering out in Square pixels instead of widescreen. How do I fix this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

~Jason

I don't have PP but I use the rest of the CS3 suite... In Ae you can change the comp settings and square pixels is an option. I thought the layouts were suppose to be very similar so maybe there is Comp Settings or similar setting in the pull down menu.

Thanks for the reply Tom. I see your point.

However, I must learn how to do it in Premiere. What I don't understand is when I burn to DVD the aspect ratio is perfect. It is only when I export to avi or quicktime does it default back to 4:3 instead of 16:9 widescreen.

It sounds like you are exporting at 1440x1080 with a 1.33 pixel aspect ratio, which some players have difficulty interpreting.
Export at 1920X1080 or 1280x720 using square pixels.
