"Super Lonely" 48 Hour Film Contest (XH-A1 & M2)
Hey guys, me and a four my buddies entered a 48 hour film contest this weekend and just wanted to share what we came up with. Shot with an XH-A1 and a Redrock M2. I didn't write or direct the piece but I was the director of photography, did picture and sound editing, do vfx, color grade, and score the piece. We managed to pull it off and still get plenty of sleep! Anyway, here it is and tell me what you think!

It looks really nice Marlon but I have to say that I personally found it excruciating to sit through. in my opinion, the acting was really bad and the story was drawn out. It felt really amateur to me.
Sorry to be harsh :(

I can't get it to play.
All I get is an empty box like I don't have QuickTime installed and I do. I actullay have QT Pro installed. Bummer, I would love to see it. |

Awesome quality, but incredibly boring. I dug the effects too, they were really cool.

Considering you put it together in 48 hours, that was pretty good. The acting was stiff at times but hey, what can ya do. I thought it was pretty good.

Anyway since noone had any help....
I figured out it's a quicktime/flash issue. I had to uninstall flash and reinstall quicktime (actually repair) to get it to play. Now I will reinstall Flash and have it disable QT again. Oh what fun. So now that I have seen it... Nice images in the clip. Yes the "actors" are truly amatuers, but hey the shots were pretty well thought out. |
