My new XL2 is on the way

Well after saving up for near 6 months I finally ordered my XL2 from B&H and UPS will be here this afternoon with it.

I’ve had the manual down loaded for near a year and have the Ultimate Guide to the XL2 DVD so now it’s down to just a few more hours and I’m sure the longest few hours waiting for UPS to arrive.

This will be a step up from my Sony Digital 8.

Now I have to start saving for the long EOS still lens.

Warren

Its like Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and Christmas rolled into one for you. Congrats on the purchase, I look forward to seeing what you create with the XL2.

I've just sold my favourite second XL2 today...so have shed some more tears. The Canon XL2 system (including Nikkor lenses) has been a fantastic pro-camera system for me and I will miss it a lot!

Hi Tony have you gone over to another cam, or are you not using a cam anymore on your travels.

Congrats man,

I bought mine last year at about the same time. It's a great camera and I'm sure you'll love it. Don't forget to buy extra batteries. I get mine on eBay for less than 20$ and they work great.

Have fun

Best regards
