Mic Att specs?
Does anyone know what the Audio Attenuation specs are? It seems to be doing a fine job of sticking a basic limiter in before audio is recorded. I am guessing that with no settings to adjust it is going to be a fairly basic thing and that if I want more precise limiting a bit of outboard gear is going to be needed. Mind you I don't think I actually need anything more than basic limiting. I just wish I could turn back the clock and turn on Mic Att for the film shoot we recently finished - it would result in far less ADR. Crap.

According to pp51-52 and the specs on p119 of the English language XL2 manual, mic atten is 20dB for the front mic and XLR inputs. From the menus, you can also gain up the XLR inputs by 12dB.
