XL2 or XL2 Body Kit
Looking at the Canon USA website I notice they do the XL2 and a XL2 Body Kit. Few questions about this:
1. From the users that have XL2's do you have the full camera or the XL2 Body Kit? 2. Is either version better or worse than the other? 3. What lens do you have on the body kit version? |

I have the XL-2 with the 20X lens, probibly going to get the Wide Angle lens as well - but don't have it yet.
For a standard lensd, I like the 20X zoom - although it does not have great wide angle capibility (say as compaired to the Panasonic DVX100a lens). As far as which version is best - well they are the exact same thing, with the body kit just not coming with the lens! (i.e. you would need to get one in order to use it). From the sounds of things, it looks like you would be best to get the standard XL2 Kit with the 20X lens and then see if you require a different lens later (I like the 20X lens myself). Ryan |
