Quick Tips?
I'm a PD170 user and I'm filming a wedding this saturday. I was able to borrow 2 XL2's for the wedding and I'm wondering if theres any "quick tips" that people have for using one. I've used one very briefly before, but not anything in depth.
Also, Has anyone ever mixed PD170 and XL2 footage before? Thanks! |

Make sure you whit balance all together. If you have time, run the Sony and the the XL2 through a little switcher box. that way you can compare the look and tweak the xl2's to match the Pd 170 more closely. the beauty of the Xl2's is the ability to get so many different looks.
Bruce yarock P.S.- I bought a little 4 in, 1 out switcher from radio shack for $20. Plug in the 3 cams and out put to one monitor.Switch back and forth at will. |
