Any good deals on the original XL1? at DVinfo.net

Has seen any good prices from reputable dealers out there? Now that the $500 rebate is over, I figured some dealers may be willing to reduce the price to clear them out... or not.

Most of the remaining original XL1 stock has been sold, but you can commonly find refurbs (without warranty of course) for around $2800 or so. Just make sure it's coming from an authorized Canon dealer (for a list, call 1-800-OKCANON). If you're ready to buy, see the Private Classifieds forum below: I know a Canon sales rep in Houston with a cherry XL1 for sale, assuming it isn't gone yet. Hope this helps,
