I assume you're looking for an on-camera light, Peter? If so, many folks like the Frezzi XL1 kit. True, you will need to use a separate battery to power it. But it's a very flexible lighting system.

Hi Peter,

Ken's right the Frezzi is nice.

Got mine a month or two back. Make sure you get the dimmer model for it's versatility. Although an XL-1 user I opted to buy the Std 50W dimmer model so that I could suss out my own battery ideas. The flip down dichroic filter was too expensive for me so I went for the soft box with filters and the barndoors. I use it with a 12V gel cell.

Cheers
Andrew

Thanks guys

Its exactly what I was looking for, I've been to Frezzies site, but its buggy, when I look for UK dealers it screws up.
If anyone knows of a good UK Supplier.

Regerds Peter.

Hi Peter,

I looked for a supplier in the U.K. but was unable to locate one. It is easier to get goods from the U.K. for me than the U.S.

Check if the DVinfo sponsors don't do it. I found out later that direct from Frezzi was the most expensive option.

Cheers
Andrew
