Two questions re a) Neo 4k and b) Cineform on Mac
Hi,
a) Neo 4K I'm currently running Neo2K. Has there been an upgrade to Neo4K? I no longer see Neo 2K on your web site. b) Cineform on Mac b) I'm currently running Vegas on my MacBook under VMware/XP, as well as running it natively on my Win XP desktop. Is there any issue with running Neo 2K/4K under VMWare? I've discovered that I can't capture directly to the Win XP guest system, so would like to be able to capture under MacOS for processing under the guest XP system with Vegas. I understand that there is a version of HDLink planned for Mac. Would this mean that I would need two separate versions (licenses) for Cineform on my MacBook one for MacOS and another for Win XP? |

a) NEO 2K users are upgrade to NEO 4K.
b) You will need to contact support regarding capture, I don't which configuration a recommended for running NEO's HDLink under emulation for capture (you need lower level access to the firewire port, some emulation modes may prevent that.) Currently NEO 4K comes with two licenses, one for Windows and one for OS X.
