trimming not possible for .mts?

I'm currently trying out the demo to Studio Premiere (neo scene user here) but notice that the trim in and out functions dissapear when I try to import .mts files from my AG-AF100. I can trim in/out on .mp4 files from my POV cameras, but not for my AF.

Re: trimming not possible for .mts?

That is correct, some camera can't yet be trimmed, we hope to address this in future updates.

Re: trimming not possible for .mts?

OK, thanks- I thought it was my machine. A couple more questions (David or anyone else who knows)...

1) If and when one decides to upgrade from Neo Scene- what is the procedure? I can't find upgrade install steps on your site. And I assume this cancels out your Neo-Scene license?

2) Does a purchase of Studio Premium (upgrade or otherwise) allow you 2 copies- one for your desktop and another for a laptop? I thought I read somewhere Cineform allows that.

3) The meta-data changes (color corrections) you make to your converted files can be seen by anyone who has the cineform player installed? Or will they only be able to see with a copy of first light?

4) ETA on a manual?

5) Any plans to provide color wheel controls instead of sliders?

6) Is the main advantage of Premium over Neo Scene- the access to firstlight and meta-data controls? Is the quality of the conversion the same 4.2.0 to 4.2.2

7) Thanks!

Re: trimming not possible for .mts?

1) On the the order page, you select what you are updating from.

2) You have officially one license, yet we enable two activations on the license server.

3) Neither. Image correction require you move the color database, which is much easier with Studio. Simply save a project inside Studio Premium and have your customer load that project in the free CineForm Studio.

4) Any day now.

5) Plans, yes.

6) So much more. Unlimited resolution, photo timelapse at 4K or greater, codec capable of 4:4:4:(4), support for high-end camera, and more.

7) no worries.
